Seasons Change - Big News Here at the Shop

I always find myself listening to the Flaming Lips when sadness or cosmic stress starts to overwhelm me. They've been on pretty heavy rotation lately.

August 2021. My baby girl will be eight years old. The shop will celebrate 10 years in our current location. Time marches on whether you're ready or not and most of the time I'm just not ready. But the world keeps spinning round. People come and go. Every once in a while, if you're lucky, one of them will leave their imprint on you. 

For the last decade we've been so fortunate to share our building with Donny Hickmott and the Walking Horse Gallery. Anyone who's been to the shop has undoubtedly seen Donny's work and hopefully had the pleasure of meeting him at some point. Talented, generous and just a straight up good guy...Donny is family and I love him to death. 

The world keeps spinning round. Time marches on. All that bullshit. I'm gonna miss my friend but I am so excited that he's decided to take it easy and spend time with his family.

Damn I'm gonna miss my friend.

So now....the exciting news. 

We'll be taking over Donny's part of the store starting in August - it's going to be a work in progress but we'll be expanding our offerings to include an even bigger variety of products. New signage, dedicated customer parking and more changes coming in the next weeks. 

We've also been given the green light from the health department to reactivate our famous hot sauce sampling cooler so that will be up and going again in the next few weeks as well. One of my favorite parts of the shop was always watching people get turned on to new flavors and I've missed it SO MUCH!!

All this would never be possible without all of you - I've truly been humbled over the last year to see so many of you guys right there in my corner. It's because of all you that we are still here and growing and I'm eternally grateful. Come by and check out the new space over the coming weeks - exciting things are going on and I'd love for you to be a part of them!
